1 Filling the Online Application Form

Getting Started

Read the advertisement carefully before starting your application
Register on the Faculty Recruitment Portal if you haven't already
Login with your credentials to access the application form
Ensure you have all required documents ready before filling the form

Application Steps

1: Read The advertisement carefully,Payment of Application Fee - Pay the required application fee online
2: Check Your Eligibility.
3: Payment of Application Fee(If Applicable) - Pay the required application fee Through SBI Collect
4: Personal Information - Fill in your name, contact details, date of birth, etc.
5: Educational Qualifications - Enter all your academic qualifications starting from 10th onwards
6: Experience Details - Add your teaching, research, and work experience
7: Publications - List your journal papers, conference papers, books, patents, etc.
8: Research Projects - Add any research projects you have completed or ongoing
9: Awards & Honors - List any awards, recognitions, or achievements

Fill all mandatory fields marked with asterisk (*)
Double-check all information before submitting each step
Save your progress regularly as you complete each step
Note down the application ID for future reference

2 Downloading Application Forms

After Completing Your Application

Application Form PDF: With A separate page break after each section/step

Download Instructions

Download PDF files after completing your application
Save them securely on your computer
You will need these for the final submission

3 Preparing Supporting Documents

Document Collection

Collect all the documents you uploaded during each step of the application process. Arrange them in the exact order they were uploaded.

Documents to Include

All degree certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation, Ph.D.)
Mark sheets/transcripts for all qualifications
Experience certificates from previous employers
Publication certificates
Research project completion certificates
Award and honor certificates
Identity proof (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)
Category certificates (if applicable - SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
Any other relevant documents

Important Note

Maintain the exact sequence of documents as you uploaded them during the online application process. This is crucial for the evaluation process.

Please follow these guidelines carefully for proper submission

📋 Index Page Instructions:

Download the Index Page template
After numbering all pages of the Complete Application Form, fill in the corresponding page numbers in the Index Page
Ensure all section titles and their page numbers are correctly entered

Example:
Section 1: Personal Information ............ Page 1-3
Section 2: Educational Qualifications ........ Page 4-8
Section 3: Work Experience ............... Page 9-12
Supporting Documents ................... Page 13-25

3 Supporting Documents Organization

📎 Collect all supporting documents uploaded during each step
📋 After completing each step, arrange documents in the exact order they were uploaded
🔄 Maintain this sequence throughout the document

4 Document Binding Requirements

📌 Bind the complete document properly
🔒 Ensure all pages are securely fastened
📚 Use appropriate binding method (spiral, thermal, or hard binding)

5 Page Numbering & Index

🔢 Manually assign page numbers to each page of the complete document
👁️ Ensure page numbers are clearly visible
📈 Maintain sequential numbering throughout
📋 After numbering, fill the Index Page with corresponding page numbers

6 Document Arrangement Order

Final document should be arranged as:

📋 Index Page (with filled page numbers)
📎 Application Form with Supporting Documents (arranged step-wise with uploaded order)

✅ Correct Order: Index Page → Application Forms → Supporting Documents

Note: Incomplete applications, missing Index Page, or those not following the above instructions may be subject to rejection.

5 Signing Requirements

Important Signing Instructions

Sign each and every page of the complete document (including Index Page)
Use blue ink for signatures (recommended)
Ensure signatures are within the designated areas
Do not forget to sign even the supporting document pages

Warning

Applications with unsigned pages or missing signatures will be rejected.

6 Sending Application to NIT Hamirpur

Dispatch Instructions

Send the complete document through Registered Post only
Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit
Keep a copy of the postal receipt for your records
Track your application using the tracking number
